Stereolithography is an additive process in which a virtual part is divided into thin (16 micron or 0.0006") layers.
These layers are printed onto a platform one layer at a time until a complete part is built.
Stereolithography has the advantage of being fast and very accurate.
It is possibe to create complex moving parts in a single build, like a planetary gear,
a living hinge, or even fine threaded fittings. The final parts are made of a rigid plastic availible in multiple colors.
